Facility Description The specialization of The Life Healing Center is treatment of traumatic issues and experiences. Additionally we offer extended care for chemical dependency, eating disorders, love/sex addiction, co-dependency, mood disorders and relapse prevention. Our treatment program is intensive, experiential and depth oriented.

Treatment Philosophy The treatment offered at The Life Healing Center is unique for many reasons. We have been providing comprehensive, integrative residential treatment for trauma resolution and addictive disorders for over twelve years. We are known by the work we do; we treat the whole person, body, mind and spirit. Over the years, we've developed a highly effective way to treat trauma that we believe is unmatched in any other setting.

Family Program Family Weekend - A three (3) day family program for clients and their loved ones is available (at an additional fee)

12 Step Involvement Our Chemical Dependency program is based on the understanding that the 12 step model is the single most successful approach to addictions recovery. We also believe that untreated trauma and co-occurring disorders lead to relapse and negatively impact the quality of recovery. In addition to our strong commitment to an abstinence model of chemical dependency treatment, we focus on the addiction interactions which so often present as drug and/or alcohol abuse, sex addiction, eating disorders, compulsive debting, shopping or gambling. Residents meet two times a week as a group with our chemical dependency specialists to bridge the trauma and chemical dependency work, and to learn to take in support. Individual and group work place special emphasis on developing an individualized relapse prevention plan, as well as deepening spirituality. Residents are also expected to attend 12 Step meetings regularly. Transportation is provided to meetings in the Santa Fe area.
