Facility Description
Wilmington Treatment Center offers excellent treatment to those abusing or addicted to alcohol and other drugs. We begin our program (if needed) with a medically supervised (24 hours a day) detoxification. Our programming includes, inpatient (rehab), partial (day treatment) and intensive outpatient programming. Our clinical program is comprised of 8 certified counselors, many Masters Level. We provide up to 28 days of treatment but can customize a program for you.

Treatment Philosophy
Alcoholism and other drug dependencies are treatable diseases with physical, behavioral, psychological, social and spiritual components which impair normal functioning. The illness affects the entire family. Our Treatment programs focus on personal growth in recovery and are supported by a 12-step philosophy. Successful recovery encompasses several changes including improvement in self esteem, interpersonal relationships, improvement in family interaction, vocational productivity, the establishment and attainment of realistic life goals and a healty lifestyle.

Family Program
At Wilmington Treatment Center we believe addiction is a disease that affects the entire family. We offer a comprehensive 2-day family program. We encourage family and friends of our patients to participate.

12 Step Involvement
Our efforts are guided by the core 12-Step philosophies and principles, and our daily schedule includes both Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings. We encourage our patients to attend AA or NA meetings either in our facility or off-site within the nearby community, and we introduce the family members of our patients to AA and NA in order to better assist them in their understanding of – and involvement with – the recovery process.
