The Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities National Programs is making funding available to local educational agencies (LEAs) to implement an integrated, comprehensive community-wide plan designed to create safe and drug-free schools and promote pro-social skills and healthy childhood development in youth.

Under the program, $42 million in grants will be awarded, with $3 million the maximum individual grant amount.
